Selection Process 2023
The Stage- 1 selection process of UPSC IES ISS Examination 2023 is given below.
- The Stage-1 exam consists of multiple-choice questions (objective) as well as descriptive type papers.
- The common papers to both Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service on General English and General Studies will be of subjective type.
- The question papers in all subjects will be of Conventional (essay) type.
- Candidates must be aware that the question paper will be in the English language and candidates will have to write in English only.
- The total number of questions asked in the General Studies and General English are 200
- An individual marking of Statistic-I/II/III/IV is given in the tabular format.
- Statistic I, II, & III are an objective type of paper. Whereas, Statistic IV is descriptive in nature.
- Blue/Black ball pen should be used on OMR sheet
